QPAC is sponsering the 1st International Conference on Structural Integrity

QPAC is sponsoring the 1st International Conference on Structural Integrity (ICSI). The ICSI is an international conference on Structural Integrity sponsored by the ESIS Portuguese National Committee. ICSI will focus on all aspects and scales of structural integrity thematic. This ranges from basics to future trends, with special emphasis on multi-scale and multi-physics approaches, and applications to new materials and challenging environments. The conference will be a forum for discussion of current trends of research in structural integrity, in aeronautics and space, but also in other sectors of engineering where structural integrity is a key concern. The conference topics include but are not limited to:

Coating TechnologyDamage Tolerance:

Design and Structural Assessment

Durability

Environmental Effects

Fracture Analysis

Joining Technologies

Nanomechanics and Nanomaterials

Non-destructive testing/inspectionNumerical modelling:

Repair Technologies

Structural Ageing

Structural Health Monitoring

Structural Integrity

Surface Engineering

In cooperation with BTU Cottbus Senftenberg QPAC will present the latest research results on aircraft harness structural and thermal analysis conducted by Holger Sparr, Alexander Hausdorf, Peter Jeske, Nachiket Kale, Ralph Schacht, Matthias Ziegenhorn & Oliver Zysk. This research was funded with a grant from the European Regional Development Fund. We thank ZukunftsAgentur Brandenburg (ZAB, Brandenburg Economic Development Board) and Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) for their support.
